The wooded ridges, creek bottoms, and agricultural edges of Southern Illinois create exceptional habitat for mature whitetail deer. Members can experience the quiet anticipation of early archery season, the intensity of the November rut, and crisp late-season hunts across a carefully managed property designed to support a healthy deer herd for generations.
The Camp features more than 50 acres of flooded timber dedicated to the waterfowl experience. Positioned near the Ohio and Mississippi river corridors, Southern Illinois lies beneath an important migration route for ducks and geese. Cold fronts bring fresh birds into the region, creating memorable mornings in flooded timber and managed water, followed by warm meals and stories back at the clubhouse.
Spring arrives with the sound of wild turkeys echoing through hardwood hollows and open ridgelines. The mix of mature timber, fields, and natural cover offers classic Southern Illinois turkey hunting—early mornings, careful calling, and the challenge of bringing a wary gobbler into range.
Fishing provides a slower rhythm between hunts and rounds of golf. Members can spend an afternoon pursuing bass, bluegill, catfish, and other local species in the region’s lakes, ponds, and river waters—whether the goal is serious angling, teaching a child to cast, or simply enjoying a quiet evening by the water.
